AUDITION INFORMATION
We invite applications from interested performers aged 18 or over by 30th June 2025. There is a separate audition process for junior roles. Applications to audition will close at midnight on 31st October 2024. Please ensure you have reviewed the casting notes and the draft rehearsal schedule prior to applying.
AUDITIONS
Auditions will be held throughout the week beginning 17th February 2025, with final auditions and recalls over the weekend of the 22nd & 23rd. Please keep the week free until your time slot has been allocated, which will be once we have gathered and assessed the number of applicants. We are expecting larger than usual numbers of auditionees, so ask that you are patient once applications close – we aim to share time slots and further information about the audition process by the end of November.
The audition panel will consist of the production team, formed with members from each of the participating companies. They will be joined for final recalls by Chris Key, artistic director at Cameron Mackintosh Ltd, who will offer advice. You will need to be physically present to audition; we will not be accepting video submissions.
Due to the expected number of auditionees, we aren’t planning to hold our usual pre-audition information and sing through evening. Instead, we will supply accompaniment tracks to practise with, which have been recorded by the audition pianist to allow auditionees to practise with the proper accompaniment. A link to these will be emailed to you when we contact you with your audition time slot. If you wish to listen to a cast recording, Les Misérables 2020 Staged Concert follows the score most closely. However, please remember that the audition panel will be looking for your interpretation of the role, not an impersonation.
